What We Do
UgaIrish Project supports Kamuzinda village in a number of ways throughout the year, the highlight being regular volunteer visits to the village. These trips allow assessment of projects, enhanced understanding of the problems, and provide vital encouragement for the community.
When we’re not physically in Uganda, monthly transfers to the Farm School support farm supplies, school materials and salaries. We also arrange fundraising events such as bag-packing and sponsored walks to boost the Project’s finances.
An agricultural science graduate of Makerere University, Apollo was one of the founders of the Farm School back in 2006 with a desire to teach farming and self-reliance.
He is our main link in Uganda. His trustworthy, accountable and transparent approach allows confidence in what needs to be done from this side of the Equator.
